FAQs

The retention ponds look like they are in very bad condition. What is the HOA doing about it?

Over the years there have been questions about the responsibility of the HOA when it comes to the general appearance of the ponds. The Association is responsible for maintaining the ponds in accordance with St. Johns River Water Management District permit guidelines, which means we are to maintain the flow of water freely through the input drains that come from the street drains, and the outflow barriers (that hold the Carp in). The appearance and general condition of the ponds is not one of those obligations although the HOA has been providing monthly servicing of the ponds as a courtesy to the homeowners.

If you are interested in having the pond serviced above and beyond what is currently provided, the board would be happy to have the maintenance company provide a special assessment for your property. This cost would be passed along to you.

If you have any further questions or wish to have an assessment done, please email heaventrees@bellsouth.net.
